Poppets were first introduced in 1937, before even Mum and Dad were born! They were invented for people to chomp in the cinema and the boxes designed to fit inside what were at that time, revolutionary vending machines.

Toffee was the first flavour to hit the shelves, closely followed by orange, mint, fruit creams, coconut, peanut and raisin - some of those we still know and love today.

Over the years, the Poppets pack has undergone a few design changes but the product remains as great as ever! This year sees the launch of a NEW flavour, Choc Chip Cookie, and to celebrate, Poppets is getting another make-over, so keep an eye out for the funky new packs in store.

Our wonderful packets of Poppets are lovingly made at our factory in Leicester. The tasty centres are cooked in big ovens and once ready they are popped out, cooled down and sent on their merry way down a huge conveyor belt. The little balls of goodiness are then mixed and churned in oodles of delicious chocolate until they are perfectly coated. From there they roll into their cartons and are sent to the shops ready for you to pop in and buy them! Those noisy little cartons of Poppets make a real Racket in a Packet® in our factory - all eager to pop out and jump straight into your tummy.

Bursting with delightful flavours and pure chocolatiness we love our Poppets - and we know you do too - so it's really important to us that every Poppet is as perfect as the next - our chief Poppet taster really loves his job!

10 million Poppets are munched per week. That means in a year we've chomped our way far enough to reach the centre of the earth!! How cool is that?
